We have worked with the best golf course operators and the largest golf equipment companies over the years, and have since become a familiar name to golfers, offering them a convenient way to secure their tee times at better value rates.

 

Recently, GolfGreedy became part of the GolfLan Group with presence across Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East, aggregating hundreds of golf courses onto our consumer and B2B platforms. As a technology powerhouse that develops digital platforms and complementary solutions for the golfing industry, we process thousands of golf rounds every month, serving customers in over 44 countries. Our retailand corporate portals, together with our cloud tee sheet software and StayPrime golf cart management system work in tandem to offer a holistic revenue generation solution to golf clubs, and at the same time, make this sport more accessible to golfers.

 

With funding from our international investors, we have been given a strong mandate to expand our footprint and become a major technology player in the golfing space.

 
Key activities: 
We are looking for a business development professional with excellent abilities in articulating the immense value we can bring to our audience. You thrive in engaging golf club stakeholders in intelligent conversations as you effectively communicate how we are able to add value to their operations. You love seeing the greenery at golf clubs as you travel the region to engage them. But even more so, the idea of generating buzz with consumers around a digital platform, and using such technology to drive business to these golf clubs excite you even more.

 

What is expected:

·         Develop and build a target list of golf clubs in the region and acquire them into the GolfGreedy network.

·         Manage relationships with these accounts and continuously think of ways to become a partner to help them generate revenue using our solutions

·         60% focus will be on B2B business, and 40% will be on B2C business.

·         Seek out partnerships with consumer and corporate brands to grow revenue and build brand equity.

·         Develop and implement sales strategies and marketing campaigns to meet business targets 

·         Organising and/or participating in events for gaining market share and brand exposure

·         Be well versed in our products and technology so as to conduct demos and presentations to stakeholders

 

 
Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification):
 

·         Degree in Business, Marketing or a relevant discipline from a reputable institution.

·         2 to 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing, business development, or partnership development. Previous experience of identifying, establishing and nurturing relationships with partners and affiliates.

·         Ability to build a list of prospects and relentlessly engage them.

·         Typical of technology start-ups environment, the candidate needs to be organised, hardworking, possess a positive work attitude with a willingness to learn, and take on varied roles as the need arises.

·         In tune with technology and apps, especially the concept of aggregation on a digital platform.

·         Candidates with strong digital and social media marketing experience and background will be considered favourably

·         Creative and think out-of-the box capabilities are desired

·         Independent and disciplined, able to juggle different tasks at any one time.

·         Knowledge of the golf industry is desired but not critical.

·         Comfortable in travelling 50% of the time within the region.

·         Appreciation of P&L – candidates should tell us how they’ve contributed to the P&L either in their current role or in their previous roles

·         Knows how to mesh fun with work; golf is after all a sport!
