About the role:

The Onboarding Lead is an exciting new role in a new team that provides critical support for the smooth execution of Grab’s new innovative onboarding program, aimed at boosting new Grabbers’ engagement and speed to productivity.

 

As the Onboarding Lead, you will be our prime Brand Ambassador and we will bank on you to imbibe and spread the Grab culture which we are very proud of.  

 

As the face of onboarding at Grab, you’ll also be leading the team that is managing 9 leading edge sub programs that engages and supports new Grabbers from their Day one right up to their One year anniversary. And you’ll have our new onboarding technology to support your work.

 

You’ll also be a familiar and respected face to many Grabbers since you’ll be amongst the first person they know at Grab. Which should not be a problem because you love meeting and working with people from different teams.

 

The Day-To-Day:

 

Rest assured your days at Grab will never be mundane, considering the growth we’ve had. As you have full ownership of onboarding, your responsibilities will however include some, if not all of the following:

Being the spokesperson and champion for Grab’s onboarding program
Engaging and supporting new hires in the pre-onboarding stage (We’re very welcoming in this sense)
Leading and supporting our orientation program, including Grab Experience (Trust us, this is exciting!)
Organizing and hosting social and networking events for new joiners (it’s all about creating connections!)
Gleaning insights from data and metrics for continuous improvements of programs and processes (we are all about improving and creating an impact)
Managing Grab’s new onboarding gamification program (We like to have fun and reward people)
Organizing and supporting employee reboarding program
 

The Must-Haves:

 

The Onboarding Lead is an important role and to be successful, we are looking for someone who has:

Proven experience in an Onboarding or relevant HR role such as Learning & Development
Experience in leading teams and managing diverse stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Great presentation skills and ability to engage audiences
Resourceful and ability to work with ambiguity
Basic MS Office / Google Office Suite skills, am comfortable with technology
Work well under highest pressure situation with maturity
Pleasant personality and positive attitude
Be able to travel occasionally
Degree or Diploma in any discipline
Experience with Social Media campaigns a big plus
