JOB REQUIREMENT

• Proven work experience as an accountant with 3-5 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with accounting software, like QuickBooks/ Xero
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
• Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
• Time-management and organization skills
• Confidentiality
• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting
• Experience in F&B accounting is a plus

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
• Ensure accurate and timely month end closing, financial and management reporting, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and tax regulations
• Review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, GST and Journals and GL reconciliation on a timely basis
• Review and manage audit schedules, liaising with auditor and tax agent
• Handles all financial records and consolidate all expenses and journal entries to GL
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and variances and keep accurate and updated accounting records
• Supervise stock inventory, ageing and stock control
• Provision for inventory stock, debtor and tax
• Review and implement internal control standards and system
• Monitor inter-company transactions and ensure timely recharge
• Ad -hoc projects and any other job duties which may be assigned from time to time
• Consolidation of accounts with subsidiaries
• Tax computation
• Provide administration support to the General Manager and Staff
