About the role
We are seeking a Centre Manager to oversee the operations and growth of our new I Can Read centre in Alexandra. As the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of our centre, while also identifying new opportunities to expand our offerings and reach.
Key Responsibilities
– Overseeing the administration of the centre
– Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, including student enrolment, enquiries, assessments, registration etc.
– Scheduling classes to ensure optimal usage of resources (classrooms, teachers, materials etc.)
– Planning for centre growth, including implementing marketing strategies to attract new students and promote the centre’s services
– Manage the centre’s finances, including budgeting, invoicing, reporting etc. Ensure conformance to education regulations and government requirements
– Establish excellent rapport with parents, children and the teachers
– Responsible for maintaining professional appearance of the centre and staff, cleanliness and safe operations
The Candidate to have the following traits
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written)
– Proactive with good organizational skills and time management
– Kind and nurturing approach when interacting with children
– Adaptable and keen to work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
– Minimum diploma or above
– Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (experience in Education, Retail or any other customer centric industries is an advantage)
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of ERP software
Working hours
– Wednesday to Friday from 1pm to 9pm
– Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6.30pm
