Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Assistant to join our dynamic E-commerce Logistics team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our logistics processes, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment, inventory management, and coordination between internal teams. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the smooth execution of logistics operations in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management: Assist in the processing and fulfillment of online orders, ensuring all customer orders are properly handled, shipped, and delivered on time.
Inventory Tracking: Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock audits, and report discrepancies to the relevant teams to ensure stock accuracy.
Shipping & Logistics Coordination: Support the preparation and coordination of shipments, including labeling, packaging, and dispatching, ensuring timely delivery through third-party couriers or in-house delivery systems.
Warehouse Support: Help manage the storage and movement of products within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and easy retrieval of items for order fulfillment.
Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory levels, and shipments. Assist with generating and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track logistics performance.
Customer Communication: Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve operational issues, including delayed shipments, inventory concerns, and returns processing.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Assist with managing relationships with suppliers and third-party logistics providers, ensuring timely restocking and smooth logistics operations.
Continuous Improvement: Help identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce delays.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all shipping, inventory, and operational documentation is accurate and complies with internal standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Higher Nitec or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in e-commerce logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and e-commerce/order management software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Basic knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and shipping processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with shipping carriers and tracking systems.
Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and how they integrate with logistics operations.
