Job Description

a. To assist in taking the temperature of NSmen and only allow those NSmen whose readings are within the acceptable range to proceed for training/ test

b. Organise and conduct all fitness training and tests in accordance to the lesson plans and existing Training Safety Regulations and Directives.

c. To make training exciting and engaging to energise the trainees.

d. Conduct variety of fitness programs, upon request by units in the camp complex, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 0730hrs to 0900hrs as part of the camp’s Unit Fitness Regime. For the support of these additional programmes outside of the scheduled requirements, the fixed headcounts will be given time-off.

e. Conduct ad-hoc fitness training requested by units, which would be made known to the Contractor at least 24 hours in advance.

f. To assist units in the ELISS equipment operational checks prior to the conduct of IPPT session on weekdays.

g. Manage and report training incidents, e.g. injuries and test violation cases, to the Authority.

h. Assume the role of the vehicle commander of the SAF ambulance (if required) during the emergency evacuation of an injured personnel to the nearest hospital.

i. The designted Gym FT is to manage the gym in accordance to the detailed standards and requirements.
