Overview

 Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provide support to Sales Account Manager and respond to customer and prospect queries;
  • Develop new markets for existing and new products;
  • Maintain accurate and current records of contracts, customer agreements, quotations, proposals, opportunities, accounts, contacts, leads and actions;
  • Maintain customer relationships to cultivate customer loyalty and allegiance;
  • Manage tendering websites for Singapore, including but not limited to GeBiz, SESAMI, hospital tendering websites, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and current records of company profile, financial documents, product documents for tendering process;
  • Participate in training and development programmes as part of personal development and continuous learning process;
  • Cover vacant field territories at manager’s request;
  • Follow up with customers on marketing promotions & campaigns and on open quotation to close sales leads.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Chemistry, Life Science, Biotechnology or related discipline;
  • At least 3 years of experience in laboratory sales, sales support or customer service in the science industry;
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively;
  • Efficient time management skills to stay focused on primary business objectives and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • To be able to work well independently as well as in a team.
